Mary Casanave Sheridan is the gentle yet fiercely devoted soul behind Myco-Vision, a sacred practice rooted in ancient wisdom and alive with modern understanding. For over a decade she has walked alongside people in the entheogenic realms, supported by six years of dedicated mentorship and training, and a lifetime of her own profound inner journeying. To date, she has had the honor of sitting with over 400 people, each one a reminder of why this work matters.

Mary's ceremonies are held on a serene, private farm surrounded by the quiet wisdom of Oregon's juniper forest, a setting that feels less like a location and more like a co-facilitator. The land holds you before the medicine even begins.

Her approach weaves together an uniquely wide range of practices including mindfulness, sound, poetry, movement, visualization, herbalism, energy work, somatics, brain science, spiritual philosophy, and above all, grounded human presence. She works with five heart and mind opening medicines, and a variety of supporting herbal allies. Every ceremony she holds is shaped entirely around the individual sitting before her. No two journeys look the same, because no two people are the same.

For Mary’s clients, the healing that happens in ceremony is never contained to the ceremony itself. It moves outward through relationships, through families, through communities, through time. It is personal and it is collective. It deepens one's relationship to Self, to Spirit, to Earth, and to the Great Mystery that holds all of it.

At the center of everything Mary does lives a conviction she does not take lightly: cognitive liberty. The sacred right and responsibility each of us carries to explore our own consciousness and forge our own divine connection. This is not simply her philosophical position, it is the ground she stands on. Her work is guided by universal and ancestral principles of responsibility, stewardship, connection, and freedom. Traveling in the psychedelic realms is a Sacred Act that exists beyond the reach of human constructs.

Mary leads a local community for medicine workers and ceremony holders, offering mentorship, peer support, education, advocacy, and a space for genuine connection. She writes a monthly column for The Source Weekly, where she answers reader questions about psychedelics with honesty and care, and consistently lifts the voices of Indigenous and chronically undervalued communities whose wisdom this work so often draws from. Equity, accessibility, and right relationship are woven into the very foundation of Mary’s work.
